The Frosty Apple, a family-run orchard: 6884 Walsh Rd, Dexter, MI 48130
This workshop will help homeowners and hobbyists successfully maintain fruit trees, especially apples. We will cover the basics of fruit tree care and pest management (insects, diseases, weeds, and wildlife) as well as pruning for new and overgrown fruit trees, including an outdoor pruning demonstration.
Presenters include: Amy Irish-Brown and Anna Wallis, MSU Extension.
Please dress appropriately for the weather - this event will be held in a barn and outside on uneven ground. No public restroom.
Limited capacity, preregistration required, $5 per person attending. The $5 fee supports WCCD's School and Community Habitat Grant.
