Amelanchier spicata

Dwarf serviceberry is a native deciduous shrub or small tree reaching 15-25 feet tall. It features fragrant spring flowers, edible purple berries that attract wildlife, and striking fall foliage in red and orange. Thriving in part shade with moist, well-drained soil, it adapts well to wet or dry conditions and various soil types. Perfect for woodland gardens, pollinator habitats, naturalized areas, and waterside plantings, this multi-season specimen offers year-round visual interest with minimal fuss.
