Quercus velutina

The black oak is a deciduous tree growing 50 to 80 feet tall with a variable spread. Its broad branches create an open, often irregular crown. Catkins emerge just before or alongside new leaves. The tree’s thick, glossy, pointed-lobed leaves typically turn orange or red in autumn.

Sold as bare root seedlings, 18-24”.
