Bing Cherry
Hardy; needs good drainage; very vigorous, ripens in mid-June to summer. Produces large, heart-shaped fruit with a firm, meaty, purplish-red flesh and a semi-free stone--ideal for fresh eating and preserves. Blooms in early spring, with clusters of white flowers that have a delightful fragrance. Provides up to 50–100 lbs. of cherries per year when mature (standard tree).
For cherry pollinizers to pollinate Bing cherry trees, they must be in bloom at the same time. They must also be planted close together to ensure that insects visit each tree. Several cultivars with overlapping bloom times are suitable as Bing cherry pollinators, including 'Lapins,' 'Stella,' 'Black Tartarian,' 'Black Republican,' 'Van,' 'Sam' and 'Windsor.'

Rootstock: KRYMSK 6 - semi-dwarf rootstock, roughly similar or a bit more vigorous than Gisela 5. This rootstock has a very wide climate range, being tolerant of hot climates and also very cold-hardy.
