Norway spruce, is not native, but has not been known to be aggressive or invasive. It prefers full sun and moderately moist, well-drained soil, but will grow in average or clay-heavy soil if it has sufficient moisture, but is not waterlogged. Most often used for ornamental planting, hedges, and windbreaks, but frequently used for lumber and as a Christmas tree in Europe.
