Difficult to Establish Species
There are many species that are known to be difficult to establish and might result in lower survival rates. This is often due to either species that don't store well from when they are dug (Black oak, etc), or have a fleshy root that tends to degrade from above freezing temperatures (Elderberry, Paw Paw, etc).
We encourage our customers to research species cultural requirements, follow best practices for planting, and understand which species are difficult to establish. Again, we cannot guarantee survival of plants, as stated in our refund policy.
