A medium-sized, yellow-fleshed dessert apple with 90 percent red over yellow background color. Tree is vigorous, spreading and an annual bearer. Liberty is resistant to apple scab, cedar apple rust, fire blight and mildew. A good choice for the home gardener. *

* Update: these were upgraded by the nursery to 1/2" caliper, feathered (FTH) stock, meaning they'll have already have some mature branches. We had them previously listed as 5/8-3/4". 

RootstockEMLA-111. Cross pollination required. Produces a vigorous semi-dwarf tree that are well anchored, resistant to collar rot and woolly aphids. A good selection for heavy, poorly drained soils.
